Panchot & Palazzolo Face Barcelona FC Today

From US Club Soccer’s journal of the trip to Spain – UPDATED The id2 National Selection will take on FC Barcelona today at Ciutat Esportive Joan Gamper, FC Barcelona’s official training complex. The game will take place at 12 p.m. CST (7 p.m. local time). The match against FC Barcelona is the first full length match the team will play overseas and is a highlight of the tour’s international schedule.

The team includes Logan Panchot and AJ Palazzolo of St Louis Scott Gallagher SC. They are part of a squad of 18 players from 15 clubs and 11 states, male players born in 1998 selected from the two Fall 2011 id2 Program Training Camps.

UPDATE – the team won 3-1 over Barcelona, Logan Panchot assisted on the 3rd goal. Visit US Clubsoccer.org for video & photos!
