Lou Fusz Wipke Open National League Play

UPDATED – The sixth season of US Youth Soccer National League play gets underway Thursday, November 29 when 64 girls teams in the Under-15 through Under-18 age groups meet in Wilson, NC to begin their season. St Louis is represented by the U18 Lou Fusz Wipke squad. The ladies are coming off sweet revenge, taking back the Missouri State Cup title with a 3-0 win over Harambe Viati, who won the U17 title over Wipke in Springfield in June. You can see the October Cup win below.

The team will play 7 games as part of the Blue Division (one of two) between now and early January. The first four games come this week at the CASL Tournament in Wilson, NC. Wipke is identified along with Michigan FC and Herndon Firecats, both January opponents, as challengers for the division title. Melanie Donaldson is noted as a player to watch in the article.
