The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced its 2012 High School Boys and Girls All-America award winners. There are three players from Missouri on the list – Tommy Barlow and Andrew Chekadanov from St Louis and Ray Saari from Kansas City.
The boys All-America list features four players who are repeat honorees: senior defender Joseph Deker (Kingwood H.S., Texas), senior midfielder Haiden Lane (Brenham H.S., Texas), senior forward Elliot Cassutt (Minneapolis South H.S., Minn.) and senior forward Nestor Jaramillo (Cardinal Newman School, S.C.).
