NSCAA All-Central Region Honors for 11 in Missouri

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region Team, formerly All-Midwest, for 2014 spring campaign includes eleven players from Missouri. The list is provided below along with links to College biographies for the seniors and related background material.

For High School foes Allie Hess and Savannah Trujillo, future Mizzou teammates were successful helping Sporting Blue Valley to a sixth-place national ECNL finish in 2013 as well as being part of Missouri state title teams from 2008-11. Savannah was the 2013 Missouri Class 3 All-State Player of the Year while Allie was the 2013 Missouri Class 2 All-State Offensive Player of the Year.

Nicole Howard, a two-time all-state selection, became only the second Lady Bulldog – and third RHS player ever – to be selected to the NSCAA All-Region Team, joining Anne Felts who went on to play for North Carolina and is now a Division 1 Head Coach at Incarnate Word in Texas.

Kindra Lierz, a four-time All-State honoree and 2014Class 3 Goalkeeper of the year was also named the Ozark Conference Player of the Year. She owns a career 0.66 goals against average and played in 2011 and 2012 Missouri Class 3 Final 4 with the Glendale Falcons.

Alli Magaletta won a Class 3 State Championship this year while being named the St Louis All-Metro Player of the Year.

Caroline Militello was a two-sport athlete in basketball and soccer at MICDS, earning varsity letters all four years in both sports. She was also the only St Louis area player named a Scholar All-American.

Molly Ream Was tabbed the Missouri Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year, first-team All-State, first-team All-Conference and second-team All-Metro in 2013 … helped guide St. Dominic to a pair of state crowns (2012, 2013)

Whitney Snow set the Missouri Single Season scoring record this year with 143 points, with 59 goals and 25 assists. 3-Time All-State Player.

Meg Swanson guided the defense at St Dominic to two straight Missouri state titles and a No. 1 national ranking in 2013. She was a four-time Class 2 first team all-state and all-conference performer and was a four-time Missouri Goalkeeper of the Year.
