FOX Sports Kansas City will televise 26 Sporting Kansas City games in 2017, its first season as the exclusive television home of the team. A detailed television schedule was announced today.

All Sporting KC telecasts will air in the St. Louis market, and the vast majority will be available to viewers in Mid-Missouri and Iowa as well, on FOX Sports Midwest or FOX Sports Midwest Plus. The season opens Saturday March 4th with Sporting KC at DC United. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Midwest locally.

FS1 and ESPN will collectively televise eight games to a national audience, separate from this agreement. Sporting KC joins the majority of MLS teams that now have Regional Broadcast agreements.

In addition, viewers within Sporting KC’s TV footprint who receive FOX Sports Kansas City or FOX Sports Midwest as part of their television subscription will be able to stream Sporting KC telecasts on FOX Sports GO. To stream matches, viewers must verify their credentials by signing in with their pay-TV provider’s user ID and password. FOX Sports GO carries no additional charge and can be accessed with the FOX Sports GO app or at FOXSportsGO.com.

Nate Bukaty will return for his third season as Sporting KC’s play-by-play announcer, with Matt Lawrence as color commentator and Jillian Carroll as sideline reporter. Sporting KC will produce the telecasts, including 30-minute pregame and postgame shows, enhanced with FOX Sports’ on-air production elements that are also seen on FS1’s MLS, U.S. National Team and World Cup telecasts.

In addition, Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will continue as Sporting Kansas City’s radio partners in 2017. All 34 regular season games will be broadcast on La Grande as well as Sports Radio 810 WHB or one of its sister stations.
