Lianne Sanderson factored into all three goals Sunday night at Harvard Stadium, giving the Breakers their first win of the season, a 3-2 victory over Sky Blue FC.

For Sanderson, it was her first two goals of the 2014 season. Defender Julie King scored her first professional goal and also assisted on one of Sanderson’s tallies. Sanderson provided the assist on King’s goal. The Breakers improved to 1-2-0 on the season.

2014: In 2014, the St. Louis, Mo. native started all 17 games she appeared in, playing 1,530 minutes, third-most on the team. King also scored one goal and had one assist during the 2014 season. In two NWSL seasons with the Breakers, King has started in all 38 of her appearances and has one goal and two assists in 3,392 minutes
