Region II ODP action began last weekend and continues through this weekend as all of the age groups get their opportunity to compete. The action is once again centered around Loves Park (Rockford) Illinois and it opened with the 1996, 1997 and 1998 age groups for both boys and girls July 5-7. Round robin play with two categories – Showcase and Championship brackets. The Championship bracket were competing for the opportunity to advance to the National tournament which will be held in March 2014. All of the Missouri teams competed in the Showcase bracket.
I’ll have a 1999-2001 followup early next week. I pulled the rosters off of the MYSA site but if I didn’t hear from the Coach (I emailed all of them requesting more details) I’m assuming all of the boys listed participated. If you have information on High School and Club for the boys, feel free to contact me or leave a comment. It will help me to better cover their efforts in the future.
