The 2017 Missouri High School Girls State Cup Schedules are now available. What has not been completed are the schedules for the Qualifying games needed for all age groups except U17. The 2017/2018 Fall Missouri State Cup pool play weekend will be held October 27-29, 2017. The semis/finals weekend will be held November 11–12, 2017. All games will be played at the Lou Fusz complex in Creve Coeur.
The event is for the 15U thru 18U girls age groups with a 19U bracket being played in Summer 2018. I review the individual age brackets below, looking at the returning semifinalists. Visit the State Cup schedule and results page to find out your team’s schedule.
Three of the four title games in 2016 went to penalty kicks with only the U17 game decided in regulation when Lily Farkas of FCKC scored six goals in a 7-2 win.
U15 (2002) Girls – Sporting Springfield Juventus win 1-0 over Panathinaikos PAO RDA (Penalty Kicks)
U16 (2001) Girls – FCKC Academy Blues Elite win 7-2 over Sporting JB Marine Schneider
U17 (2000) Girls – FCKC Academy Blues Elite win 2-1 over Lou Fusz Elam (Penalty Kicks)

U15 (2003) Girls
This age group competed as U14’s this Summer at the State Cup event in St. Louis in early June. FC KANSAS CITY 2003 ACADEMY BLUES ELITE won 3-2 over SLSG 2003 PREMIER. The semifinalists include MISSOURI RUSH 2003 UNITED and SPORTING LEE’S SUMMIT 2003 PINK PANTHERS SELECT. It appears that the Sporting Lee’s Summit girls have disbanded and thus are not returning to this competition and that seems to be the case for the FCKC Academy team as well, with no games played since Regionals.
There are 18 registered teams leading to a pair of Qualifying Games that will result in four groups of four teams each, with the winner of each group then advancing to the semifinals during the final weekend.
Bracket A includes SLSG Premier along with SLSG Bayern Munich, Sporting STL Red Devils and Lou Fusz Senter. LF Senter finished 2nd in their group to MO Rush and SLSG BM finished behind SLSG Premier at the Summer State Cup.
Bracket B includes Missouri Rush United along with KCSG Academy, Sporting JBM Garabedian and St. Louis Hawks. Garabedian finished last in their group from a draw in their first game, the other teams did not compete this Summer.

Bracket D includes FCKC Academy United, Lou Fusz Phillips/Klinge and Sporting Springfield Roma along with the winner of the Missouri Rush Premier v Summit SC Premier qualifier. Phillips/Klinge had some tough luck last year, beating Pink Panthers but an opening draw against Sporting JBM Garabedian kept them from advancing in the end.

Bracket B is led by Panathinaikos PAO with FCKC Academy Blues Premier, KCSG Academy Navy and either Lou Fusz Preusser or Sporting JBM Premier from their qualifying match. FCKC went 1-1-1 in a group with PAO last year, finishing 3rd.
Bracket C is a tough one with two returning semifinalists in FCKC Academy Blues Elite and AFA Fillies Wyland. They are joined by Missouri Rush United along with the winner of the LF Sanfilippo Blue and SLSG Bolton qualifier. Wyland were a semifinalist last year, losing 0-1 to eventual champion Sporting SGF on a single goal scored by Kickapoo’s dynamic forward, Jaclyn McClean after winning all three group games. FCKC also won all three group games to advance before losing 0-2 to PAO.
