The Spring season has started for the US Soccer Development Academy here in the Midwest. The ‘warmer weather’ brings the Chicago Fire to town on Sunday and there will also be home games on April 15 and April 22 when the Indiana Fire and FC United visit respectively. STLFC Academy Open Spring Season

For the U15 Boys, who currently sit second in the Central Division with a 6-3-2 record, Sunday’s match should be the most competitive one of the month. The Chicago Fire are in fourth and holding down a Wildcard sport while the Indiana Fire are in last and FC United are one spot above that.
The U16/17 boys also are in the Playoff zone at the moment, sitting third in the Central Division with a 7-4-3 schedule. The Chicago Fire (9th), Indiana Fire (11th) and FC United (10th) matches this month are an opportunity to solidify their spot.
The U18/19 boys sit in a Wildcard spot at the moment with a 6-3-5 record, good for 4th Place in the Central Division. The Chicago Fire lurk just outside that zone, in 6th with a 5-4-4 record and offer a tough challenge this weekend. Indiana Fire and FC United sit in 7th and 8th respectively so these games call for a strong start to the Spring season.
