Lou Fusz Geerling Captures Missouri State Cup

Greta Kohnz, Lou Fusz 2005 Geerling during their State Cup title win on June 9, 2018

Congratulations to the 28 St. Louis players selected to the Best XI teams for their standout play in the Fall and Spring seasons of the US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference. Greta Kohnz, pictured above, was named to both the Fall and Spring teams. To see the full list, visit US Youth Soccer. Midwest Conference Soccer Best XI

Head coaches within each Premier I Division used a nomination and voting process to select players deserving of recognition for their performance on the field. The Best XI teams are presented in a 4-4-2 formation, with one goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards recognized in each division. Specific positions (left back, attacking midfielder, etc.) are not taken into consideration when selecting the teams.

Happy Birthday to @ajpalazzolo98 (his 24th) as he prepares for his @mlsnextpro season with @stlcitysc
A bit of @stlcityacademy news - @mykhi_joyner is joining the U17 squad from SLSG. He's the lad that struck the late winner for the U16 SLSG team when they won the derby game in November. A very bright talent.
New Twitter account for this lad where he's posted a highlight video and it now also includes the goal he scored against Chicago to open the season and was the first goal for the Academy.
A reminder to make sure everything is charged up in case the weather causes outages
