A series of wide ranging discussions with Terry Michler, who was recently inducted into the National Federation of High Schools Hall of Fame, included looking at player development for underserved communities within the St. Louis region. Working with his brother Tom Michler, group founder, the organization offers a wide range of community building opportunities organized around soccer throughout the city. About New Dimensions Soccer: We seek to be the premier provider in delivering high quality extra-curricular opportunities for children living in under-resourced areas of St. Louis by creating a network of partnerships with like-minded organizations.
Ours is an outreach program that is, at its heart, multicultural and generative. Multicultural in the sense that we strive to connect with refugee, immigrant children and their families new to St. Louis from such war-ravaged countries as Liberia, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Russia, to name a few. Generative in the sense that we work to help build life skills for the underprivileged, assimilate immigrants, and expose hometown children to cultural diversity.

There is a fund-raiser underway for New Dimensions Soccer via @TheThievesSTL. A sub-group of The Louligan’s who focus on supporting and defending marginalized groups everywhere. Consider a purchase, or they are also accepting donations, to help support this local organization. @Sarah Robertson suggests that you can contact her and offer financial support directly that could also be used to help folks obtain some of the gear being sold who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Did you get your merch order in yet? Pre-order ends 12/28. We're not getting extras, so get your order in soon. All proceeds go to @NewDimSoccer. https://t.co/K3tvMNCgBz pic.twitter.com/9ItySHWxDj
