2014 January – A.J. joined the US Residency Program in Bradenton FL, the program that Landon Donovan and DeMarcus Beasley were part of in their early development. In 2015, the U.S. will be participating in the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, which serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup for the CONCACAF region. The team will be drawn primarily from this group and players who have signed international contracts. He has a one semester commitment to start.

US Boys National Team
In 2015, the U.S. will be participating in the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, which serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup for the CONCACAF region.

2014 January 7 – Williams Names 28 Players to U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team 2014 Spring Residency Roster
Twenty-one players return from the 2013 Fall Semester Residency roster and are joined by new additions in McKenzie Gaines, Eric Matzelevich, AJ Palazzolo, Raheem Taylor-Parkes and Jaret Townsend, as well as U-15 Boys’ National Team midfielder Jose Carranza and goalkeeper Eric Lopez.

2013 December 08 – US Under 17 MNT Roster named for US Soccer Development Academy Winter Showcase
AJ is one of 17 player squad assembled to round out the 80-team Development Academy field. The team will play three matches from Dec. 11-14 against the following U-17/18 Academy teams: New England Revolution, Solar Chelsea SC and PA Classics.

2012 Feb 19 – 2012 id2 National Selection International Tour
A team of the best 18 boys born in 1998-99 from the fall 2011 id2 Program Training Camps will take part in the third annual id2 National Selection International Tour to Spain, Feb. 17-27, 2012. During the tour, players will experience the day-to-day culture of some of the world’s most well-known professional clubs while also improving themselves via high-level training and game competition.

Equipped with the best 18 male players born in 1997 and 1998 from the fall 2010 id2 Regional Training Camps, the id2 National Selection will play four games on the Feb. 17-27 trip to Scotland and England in addition to conducting daily training sessions and experiencing the day-to-day culture of some of the world’s most well-known professional clubs. id2 National Selection defeats Manchester City 4-1

YOUTH
Palazzolo won a State Championship with CBC as a freshman starter in 2012. He joined the Academy program in the Spring of 2013 in a Developmental role (5 games or less) while playing with the NPL squad. He went on to join the full Academy program in the Fall of 2013.

In February 2012 he joined Logan Panchot on the US id2 National group that visited Spain.

A bit of @stlcityacademy news - @mykhi_joyner is joining the U17 squad from SLSG. He's the lad that struck the late winner for the U16 SLSG team when they won the derby game in November. A very bright talent.
New Twitter account for this lad where he's posted a highlight video and it now also includes the goal he scored against Chicago to open the season and was the first goal for the Academy.
